Indications
The book describes use in very high fever with irritability, delirium, convulsions, extreme thirst, dry lips, red urine and constipation.

Note
Gold is often omitted; instead of rhinoceros horn, three times as much water buffalo horn is used. As a powder, 3–6 g two or three times a day.
