Antispasmodic, calms liver wind and strengthens liver blood and qi.
Indications
For spasmodic complaints from liver wind: nervousness, irritability, insomnia from overstimulation, fits, hysteria, night terrors, cramps, feverishness, a distended abdomen, poor appetite and restless sleep because the liver (wood) overpowers the spleen (earth).

Note
Usually taken with 2.5 g tangerine peel to improve absorption.
